Muniain explains the reasons that led him to sign for San Lorenzo

The new San Lorenzo signing and former captain of Athletic Club de Bilbao Iker Muniain He said he chose the ‘Ciclón’ because “it was what he was looking for” for his career and because of the “love” he feels for Argentine football and the passion that the country shows for the sport.

When that opportunity came, I was very excited, I valued it with all the affection in the world and today we are ready to work,” added the Pamplona native.

According to the Spanish midfielder, who started his career at Bilbao Athletic – the reserve team of Athletic Club de Bilbao – his arrival at the club from the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Boedo is “to work”, to find his best version and to help his teammates in “everything I can”.
