At the Parque Miranda station of the Caracas Metro, a comprehensive day was held to sell the Single Electronic Travel System (SUVE) cards for grandparents, as well as for people with disabilities.
It was learned that this event included the participation of the National Council of People with Disabilities (Conapdis), and free barbering and manicure services for the elderly.
In this regard, the Minister of People’s Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, highlighted that this card strengthens the electronic single trip that comes in three modalities: The yellow card for senior citizens and people with disabilities, the blue card for students and the red card for the general public.
He stressed that from Monday, September 2 to Saturday, September 7, 150 thousand cards have been delivered, of which 40% correspond to senior citizens and people with disabilities. “The joy that they spread to us motivates us to continue to deepen every day the care policies instructed by our president Nicolás Maduro. Let’s keep moving forward!”
