The authorized personnel is made up of PNP Commander Oscar Ludeña Hurtado and PNP Second Warrant Officer Piero Israel Quesada, who will travel from September 8 to 14.
The decision was confirmed through Ministerial Resolution No. 1115-2024-IN, signed by the Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santiváñez. The document states that the trip will cost US$ 16,787.
“The expenses incurred in compliance with this Resolution are covered by the Executive Unit 002: Directorate of Economy and Finance of the PNP, of the 007: Ministry of the Interior,” the resolution states.
It also stipulates that, within 15 days of their return, the troops sent must submit a detailed report on the actions carried out and the results obtained.
On October 1, 2023, during a party in Lince owned by Paul García, then partner of parliamentarian Rosselli Amuruz, Abel Valdivia Montoya shot and killed Christiam Enrique Tirado, outside the event.
On October 4 of that year, the judiciary ordered his location and capture, after it was announced that he had left the country. As a result, on October 12 he was captured in the Russian city of Kazan.
