The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, thanked the Government of Rwanda for its congratulations after the re-election on July 28 and its good wishes for the Venezuelan people, as announced by the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations, Yván Gil.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and has the honour of conveying a message of congratulations from the Government of the Republic of Rwanda to His Excellency the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro,” reads a statement from the African country.

He also noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda takes this opportunity to reiterate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela the testimony of its highest and most distinguished consideration in favor of the South American country.
