ALBA-TCP rejects OAS interference in Argentina's revocation of interests to Brazil

The Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, rejected this Saturday the statements of the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, on the revocation of Brazil’s approval to represent Argentina’s interests.

Almagro, in a new interventionist action, described Venezuela’s decision as “a threat contrary to law.” It should be noted that the extreme right issued false messages of siege on social networks.

In this regard, Arreaza stated on his Telegram channel: “The OAS Hitman General must be constantly reminded of the most basic rules of international law.”

“According to Article 41 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, paragraph 3: The premises of the mission must not be used in a manner incompatible with the functions of the mission as set out in this Convention,” he said.

He also stated that “From the premises of the Argentine embassy in Venezuela, a group of extreme criminals is planning attacks against President Maduro, Vice President Rodríguez and the constitutional order.”

“As usual, Almagro comes out in defense of his fellow agents of imperialism, promoters of acts of violence, terrorism, destabilization,” he said.

Arreaza also stressed that “the OAS was always a ministry of colonies, but with Almagro it has become another department of the CIA.”
