The Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, indicated during the program A Pulso broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, that the Congress of the five generations is the profound transformation of society, it is a congress without intermediaries, broad and frank, inclusive of society, refers to the VTV web portal.
It should be remembered that Menéndez was appointed by President Nicolás Maduro to be the general coordinator of said event.
The congress that will be held on October 4, 5 and 6 is of historical importance, according to what was expressed by the Vice President of the Planning Sector, “it is not just any topic, our country, the militancy and all the inhabitants, let us see that this is not just another congress, it is nothing more and nothing less than the most important discussion, it is the transformation of a new historical social model, it is a fundamental transformation.”
He said that in recent days the country “saw the face of fascism, saw its teeth, saw the fury that is seen in other Latin American countries, which highlights the importance of discussing the profound transformation of society.”
He also said that the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, “proposed a discussion from the point of view of the five generations and the seven major forces. There will be various levels of assemblies that begin next Tuesday. The first wave of assemblies that correspond to the grassroots level, in the communities, are convened from Tuesday to Monday.”
