Santo Domingo .- The president Luis Abinader received this Friday the Secretary of State of the United States, Antony J. Blinkenon an official visit to the National Palace, the seat of the Dominican Government.
Blinken arrived around 10:00 a.m.
The US Secretary of State was received on the Front Staircase of the Government House by the Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza; the Vice Minister of Multilateral Foreign Policy, Rubén Silié; and the Director of State Ceremony and Protocol, Ambassador Francisco José Cantizano Nadal, who led him to the White Room, where he will meet privately with President Abinader.
Following his private meeting with the Dominican president, the senior U.S. official’s agenda also includes a broader bilateral meeting with members of both delegations.

Both politicians will later make statements to the press “to highlight the points discussed in the meetings,” according to a previous statement from the Presidency.
The day will conclude with an official lunch at the National Palace, “where the talks will continue in a more relaxed atmosphere.”
