The truckers’ strike complete five days standing and its impact is becoming increasingly noticeable, not only on mobility, but also on different sectors of the economy. Although negotiations between the parties are still ongoing, no agreement has yet been reached.

Among the proposals that have been put on the table, the National Government proposed that there will be a gradual increase in the price of ACPM (diesel) with a monthly adjustment of $200 which would last until December. However, the transporters rejected the proposal.

3:17 pm: The latest police report indicates that 233 protests have been recorded across the country, corresponding to 120 permanent blockades, 82 intermittent ones and 25 demonstrations. This is despite the intervention of the UNDMO on Wednesday afternoon to clear some blockades, including four in Bogotá, one in Tunja (Boyacá) and one in Cáqueza (Cundinamarca).
