What should I do if my certificate is not digitalized?
If your birth certificate is not digitized, you can request the federal government to do so by following these steps:
Send an email directly to the designated link of the federal entity where you were registered, placing in the subject of the email “Request for incorporation of minutes” and attaching the following:
1.- Scanned image of the birth certificate.
2.- Scanned image of the CURP.
Observations:
- Both images in PDF format
- Images must not have any deletions or corrections.
- Do not send photographs, the information is distorted.
In the following link you will find the Directory of Customer Service Links of the Interstate Record Printing System (SIDEA), who are responsible for incorporating the records into the National Civil Registry Database.
Once you have located the state Civil Registry to whom you will request the digitalization of the certificate, you must send an email with the following information:
- Full name (first name(s), first surname, middle surname)
- Sex (female/male)
- Birthdate
- Registration entity
- Municipality of registration
- Registry Office
- Minutes number
- Book number
