Trilha de Letras welcomes Rio de Janeiro poet Bruna Mitrano

One of the new and praised names in the new era of poets, Bruna Mitrano from Rio de Janeiro is the interviewee on today’s (4) Trilha de Letras program, at 11 pm, on TV Brazil. In conversation with presenter Eliana Alves Cruz, she details the current “face” of Brazilian poetry: feminine, young, successful on social media and with texts that address both personal and collective issues.Trilha de Letras welcomes Rio de Janeiro poet Bruna Mitrano

But Bruna also has other differences: born and raised in a suburb of Rio de Janeiro, which only gains attention in the press for cases of violence, she brings this brutality of a hard and cruel daily life to her writings with the same naturalness with which she talks about what Nobody wanted to seethe name of her most recent book. From Bruna’s words, there is no way to miss it.

About the program

Trilha de Letras seeks to debate the most current issues discussed by society through literature. Each edition, the program welcomes a different guest. The attraction was conceived in 2016 by journalist Emília Ferraz, current director of the program that went on air in April 2017. This season, the episodes were recorded at BiblioMaison, the library of the French Consulate in Rio de Janeiro.

THE TV Brazil has already produced three seasons of the program and received more than 200 national and international guests. The first two seasons were presented by the writer Raphael Montes. The third, by Katy Navarro, a journalist from Brazilian Communications Company (EBC). Journalist, writer and scriptwriter Eliana Alves Cruz takes over the fourth season, which also has a version on MEC Radio.
