A power plant, a power inverter, a drum with 220 liters of fuel, among other materials, were found at the camp.
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) while patrolling the Amazonian territory located an illegal mining camp in the Caño Carmen sector, Autana municipality, proceeding to dismantle and destroy it.
The information was provided by the operational strategic commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez in his account on the social network IG, indicating that the action was carried out within the framework of the Bolivarian Shield Operation “Neblina2024” aimed at the protection of the state of Amazonas.
The camp had the following material:
⁃ Three (03) 3 HP motors.
⁃ One (01) power plant.
⁃ Twenty (20) meters of high pressure hose.
⁃ One (01) power inverter.
⁃ One (01) 12 V battery.
⁃ Three (03) bugles.
⁃ One (01) television.
⁃ One (01) plastic drum containing 220 liters of gasoline-type fuel.
The high-ranking official stated that “In the state of Amazonas, according to our territorial legal system, mining and hydrocarbon exploitation is totally prohibited, and environmental conservation is a civic duty. No national or foreign human group will be above the interests of the Venezuelan State.”
