In a video that has gone viral on social media, a cell phone company user starred in an angry scene at one of the company’s customer service centers, expressing his anger at the constant increase in the cost of his cell phone plan.
Visibly upset, he did not mince words in his complaint about what he described as abuse by the company, which increased rates without prior notice and without having agreed to it, he said.
The video shows how the customer lashes out with loud and swear words, drawing the attention of the other customers and employees present. “These quadruple… and sons of bitches… are robbing us every month,” shouted the man, clearly frustrated by the situation.
According to him, the rates for his cell phone plan have increased by up to 80%, which he considers totally unjustified.
Through social media, the video has received both support and solidarity from other users who have experienced similar situations.
Many have shared their own experiences and criticized the company for what they see as inadequate handling of rates.
“Canceling a plan with Movistar is the worst thing in life,” says one user, while others say that “they raise rates as they please.”

Following the viralization of the video, Movistar issued responses in which it claims to have contacted those affected privately and prioritized their cases.
However, for many users, this is not enough. The words of the indignant customer continue to resonate: “The Superintendence must intervene and stop these abuses.”
