For the week of February 19-25, prices of all the fuels in the Dominican Republic will remain unchanged, as announced this Friday by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM).
According to the resolution, premium gasoline will be sold at RD$287.60 per gallon and regular gasoline at RD$270.50 per gallon, both keeping their price unchanged.
A gallon of regular diesel will be sold at RD$217.60 and optimal diesel will be offered at RD$236.10, both remaining unchanged.
The gallon of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will be dispatched at RD$147.60 and natural gas at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.
This is the second week that the government maintains the price of fuels unchanged after they were increased between one and five pesos per gallon for the week of February 5 to 11.
The government reported that it will allocate approximately RD$610 million to contain the increases as of this Saturday.
