"Let me through, I have to go f... my wife!": Curious complaint from a man caught in the truckers' strike

“I totally get it, buddy! Let love endure the chaos!” commented one user.

Amid the tension caused by the truckers’ strike on roads in Santander, an unusual episode has captured the attention of social networks, provoking laughter and support from Internet users.

During one of the demonstrations, which sought to protest the increase in diesel fare, a driver – or possibly a passenger of a public service bus – starred in a comical and memorable moment.

The video, which has quickly gone viral on platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter), shows the man demanding in very “Colombian” words that the truckers let him pass.

“Let me through, I want to get home to my fucking wife!” he shouted with obvious urgency, while the rest of those present could not contain their laughter.

What made the episode even more curious was the way the man justified himself: he claimed that he was late and that he had to get home to, in his own words, “pamper” his wife.

Reactions on social media were not long in coming. Many users have expressed their solidarity with the subject, sending supportive comments and pointing out that, amid the difficult circumstances of the strike, this moment of humor was a relief.

“I totally get it mate! Hold on to love in the midst of chaos!” commented one user. Others have seized on the incident to make jokes and memes, turning the anonymous man into a sort of “folk hero” of the day.
