3rd Race with a Cause: My fight is pink
With the motto My fight is pinkis related to the pink ribbon symbol of the fight against breast cancer, a disease that caused 17% of deaths of Mexican women due to malignant tumors in 2022.
For this reason, the IMSS Foundation organizes this race to raise awareness about prevention. Other institutions such as the pharmaceutical companies AstraZeneca and Sanofi, Seguros Argos and the medical device chain BD participate in the event.
There will be three categories:
3K – Family walk for all ages.
5K – Free Men and Women
10K – Free Men and Women
There will be two routes, the walk and the 5 and 10 K race, both of which you can check out here .
Runner kits will be provided to participants, including the competitor number, chip, personalized medal with name (until October 4), an event T-shirt and a cloth bag.
Where will it be and what are the registration costs?
The 3rd Race for a Cause will be on Sunday, October 20, 2024, one day after the International Commemoration of the Fight against Breast Cancer, at the IMSS Central Offices, in Reforma.

Rates
The page indicates lower registration prices, but they were valid until August 31. The rate is 475 pesos for any category until October 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
Kits will be delivered on Saturday, October 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the IMSS Central Offices, with access on Toledo Street.
