Moncada: the right's aim was not to win the elections, but to destroy them

Venezuela’s permanent ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Samuel Moncada, detailed the plan of the far right together with the United States Government (US) to ignore the election results of July 28 and generate violence in the country.

In the special segment of the multiplatform program Con Maduro +, Moncada specified that the coup d’état was prepared in advance and the Washington administration was betting on a social explosion in Venezuela.

He explained that they were planning a blackout in the country during the electoral process with the support of the American billionaire Elon Musk. The next step was to publish the parallel electoral system.

“The official truth was going to be replaced by their parallel truth, a parallel state created with an electoral system, with a transmission system,” the ambassador explained.

Moncada reiterated that “the purpose of this sector of the Venezuelan opposition was not to win the elections, but to destroy them. They do not recognize the State Institutions, they do not recognize the entire Republic.”

In this regard, the President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted the speed of the country’s electoral system, since it allows for the election results to be available before the exit polls, as is customary in the United States.

“The United States government and its military-industrial apparatus are the main financiers of the universities that have joined the supposed scientific analysis of a quick count without rigor that declares Edmundo González the winner and without the use of data from the CNE of Venezuela,” he stressed.

For its part, the President Nicolas Madurohe stated that the extremist opposition did not prepare for an electoral contest, after highlighting the constructive campaign carried out by the Bolivarian forces, but rather they prepared for war.

“We are experiencing a fascist outbreak in Venezuela like we have never seen before. We had seen extreme right-wing and coup-mongering outbreaks, but the fascist outbreaks with criminal cruelty, with the load of hatred, division and vengeance that we had no historical reference for,” he warned.
