Great National Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Block will be held in October

In order to create a programmatic, geopolitical and strategic vision for the next 30 years, President Nicolás Maduro appointed a presidential commission to coordinate and lead matters related to the holding of the Grand National Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc.

The announcement was made by the national leader during the meeting he held in the Boyacá Hall with the Five Generations of the Revolution.

Maduro said that the immediate task is to clearly formulate the 7 transformations and the concrete agenda of action, for which he asked for all the necessary support. The team will have the mission of traveling throughout the country and will have its office in Miraflores in order to maintain continuous communication with the Head of State.

He said that the objective is for them to “get set up today and start organizing all the work and go around the country to coordinate with the 7 forces that we have managed to activate,” he said.

He pointed out that “fascist surnames have not been able to, nor will they ever be able to defeat Venezuela, I swear to you” and in that sense he asked those “attending this meeting to form the teams for this day (…) so that within a month, on Friday October 4, Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6, we will convene the Grand National Congress of the Bolivarian Popular Chavista and Socialist Historical Bloc of Venezuela for the 21st Century,” he stated.

Maduro said that the aim of the aforementioned Congress is to “in three days of a well-prepared session from a methodological point of view, land the strategic, geopolitical programmatic vision of the next 30 years of Venezuela. We can be great, we can establish the outline of the stages, from the one we are living onwards. We can make a historical and strategic plan, (…) a good vision, a good plan, because here we are not playing with cars, here we are making a revolution for the generations that are growing up.”

The Propelling Generation coordination team will be made up of María León, Nohelí Pocaterra, Marelys Pérez Marcano, Fernando Soto Rojas and Alexis Toledo.

The Founding Generation is coordinated by Francisco Ameliach, Adán Chávez, Blanca Eekhout, Erika Farías, Luis Reyes Reyes and Wilmar Castro Soteldo.

As for the Young Generation, Gabriela Peña, Yurami Quintero, Luis José Marcano, Nicolás Maduro Guerra and Alejandro Terán were appointed.

Regarding the so-called Young Generation, there are Johana Molina, Rosinés Chávez, Genésis Garvett, Grecia Colmenares and Johan Contreras

And finally, the Genial Generation, from the high schools, Salvador Tavera, Michel Delgado and Sara Tavera are in charge of the coordination.

Likewise, Ricardo Menéndez was appointed as General Coordinator of the Congress of the Historical Block and Francisco Ameliach as Executive Secretary of the Presidential Commission of the 5 Generations.

Reformatting the entire revolution

The Head of State indicated that it is time to consider a reformatting of the revolution. “It is profound, it is the historical time to do it, so that there is more revolution, more patriotism, more independence and sovereignty, to build a more popular democracy, to move more towards socialism,” he added.

“It is not about self-destruction, (…) we have a coup-mongering, pitiyanqui, violent opposition. Today a fascist, criminal, Nazi current has emerged that wants to hand over the national territory” while warning that this is not “just any time.”

He added that the empire is trying to impose a fascist current on the continent.

On the other hand, the national leader said that “we have to carry out a comprehensive review of the Plan de la Patria 2023-2030,” he said.

“I want us to land now with all the political capabilities of the Five Generations. There is work and work to be done on the offensive, constructive. What needs to be refounded, let it be refounded; what is useless, let it be eliminated, let it go,” he said, noting that each person’s own individual review is warranted.

“A true revolution is one that has the capacity to see itself from within, to review itself, to re-establish itself permanently, wherever we are, in whatever trench we find ourselves, small and humble, large or transcendent,” he stressed.

The President warned that he will play the role that is his and that he is not a coward and will move forward with the people.

Defeating egos

He also stressed that “ego and individualism are the breeding ground for betrayal, division, lies, corruption and rot. The egos fed by the bourgeoisie that betrayed Chavez have dried up, dried up, defeated, abandoned and alone. They (the far right) have no history, what they have is money, interests and personal ambitions, we have a robust historical vision and a robust legacy to defend with our own lives.”

He warned that “today we not only have a coup-mongering and violent opposition,” but that under its leadership “a fascist, criminal, Nazi current has emerged that wants to surrender the national territory.”
