Rojo de la Vega leads protests against the annulment of the election in Cuauhtémoc

Rojo de la Vega said that his goal is to resist until the end, and that he will resort to whatever means necessary to achieve recognition of his victory.

“We will resist and we will go to the Regional Court, and I have no doubt that they will rule in our favor again,” he told the media.

This Monday, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador also spoke out about the annulment of the election in Cuauhtémoc. In this regard, during the morning press conference he asked to carefully view the accusations of gender-based violence, because he believes that there may be “electoral fraud” at the root.

“I respect what they decide. I think there are other instances, that this is not over and we must be careful, because the underlying accusations have to do with electoral fraud, vote buying, falsification of records, stuffing of ballot boxes, everything they did and we suffered,” he said.
