Carol Simmons, a climate change analyst at the Ministry of Environment’s Climate Change Directorate, talks about the Climate Change Academy for Young Leaders, a two-month program that brings together 30 to 40 young people aged 18 to 25.
Mi Ambiente has held 10 versions of the Climate Change Academy for Young Leaders, Simmons said.
“Young people create projects for their communities, and also lead initiatives in their jobs,” this with reference to the results once the Academy on Climate Change for Young People concludes.
