Cabello: attacks on the SEN are directed by the fascist sector of Maria Machado

The first vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, stated this Monday that the attack against the National Electric System, last Friday, was directed by the fascist sector of Mrs. María Machado.

“They repeat the same script with actions like these, believing that they are only harming Chavistas and they end up attacking their own people as well, which, of course, generates rejection from a family that is at home, whether they are opposition, Chavista or have no political identification (…) it is a terrorist attack that affects us all without distinction of class, religion, or anything,” he said during a PSUV press conference.

He said that the country’s authorities are continuing their investigations to find those responsible for the attack on the SEN.

“The investigations are in full swing and we will get to the bottom of it, to those responsible, but we will get to everyone. The investigations are well underway,” he stressed, while emphasizing that the far right led by María Corina Machado has never cared for the country.

He also pointed out that these attacks were intended to get people to take to the streets en masse, but the conscience of Venezuelans allowed peace to prevail while the attack on the SEN continued.

“These attacks were harsher than those in 2019, but what they showed is that the government and the working class have prepared to respond to these attacks in less time,” he stressed.

He rejected the use of minors to generate violence by the extreme right of fascism.

“They don’t care about taking children to their deaths, and they don’t care because they are not their children, they are haters. Mrs. María Corina Machado is a fascist, a child murderer, she doesn’t care because her children are in the United States living like kings,” Cabello lashed out during a press conference of the National Directorate of the PSUV.

He also announced that some of the children arrested for terrorist acts committed after the presidential elections on July 28 are already “being released on bail, under presentation” and that their parents are taking responsibility for the acts, he explained.

In this regard, he clarified that the releases have nothing to do with any Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). “It is the Venezuelan State acting consciously. Children are untouchable for the State, we love them with all our souls and we want to ensure them a country in peace, without fascism, without hatred and without irresponsible people like María Corina Machado,” he stressed.

Cabello said that during the interrogations the parents said they did not know that their children had been contacted by the commandos created by María Corina Machado.

“There is an open investigation because there are minors who have traces of gunpowder on their hands and there are people who died at the place where they were captured. We do not pursue or kidnap anyone, that does not happen in Venezuela, we have nothing to hide,” he emphasized.

Cabello considered Edmundo González to be a coward, as he has not appeared before the summons of the Public Ministry.

In this sense, he rejected the use of minors to generate violence by the extreme right of fascism.

“They don’t care about taking children to death, and they don’t care because they are not their children, they are haters. Mrs. Maria Corina Machado is a fascist, a child murderer, she doesn’t care because her children are in the United States living like kings,” he said.

NGOs are not related to releases

He also announced that some of the children arrested for terrorist acts committed after the presidential elections on July 28 are already “being released on bail, under presentation” and that their parents are taking responsibility for the acts, he explained.

In this regard, he clarified that the releases have nothing to do with any Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). “It is the Venezuelan State acting consciously.
