Venezuela and Bolivia update cooperation in education

With the aim of updating cooperation in educational matters, the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Plurinational State of Bolivia, César Trómpiz, attended a meeting at the Plurinational School of Public Management (EGPP).

During his stay at the Bolivian institution, the selection process for scholarship holders to study at the Hugo Chávez Frías University of Health Sciences in Venezuela began, as part of the binational educational cooperation.

“At this meeting we updated our cooperation to include new Bolivian scholarship holders invited by Venezuela to study Comprehensive Community Medicine this year,” he said.

The admission process, as in other occasions, will be carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education, the Embassy of Venezuela in Bolivia and the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation (Fundayacucho). During which interviews, medical examinations and processing of student visas will be carried out, among other requirements.

Last year, 14 young Bolivians began their professional medical studies at the Hugo Chávez Frías University of Health Sciences, thanks to scholarships awarded by Fundayacucho.
