In a statement, The political party indicated that remove members of the Board of Directors of Petroperú It is turning our backs on the government and its proposals to end the state-owned company’s over-indebtedness. which has severely deteriorated its solvency and liquidity ratios.
“By removing the board of directors of Petroperú, the government is choosing not to provide a solution to a bankrupt company that is supported by the money of all Peruvians,” the organization said.
He added that they regret that the Government continues with its policy of “inertia” and “mediocrity” that characterizes it and that it has not made a decision to speak out regarding the restructuring alternatives for Petroperú proposed by its Board of Directors.
“On the other hand, we urge the Congress of the Republic to abandon this same policy of inertia and mediocrity and to question the Minister of Economy and Finance and the Minister of Energy and Mines to provide explanations of the case and, if these explanations are not satisfactory, to censure them, in accordance with our constitutional framework,” said the PPC.
The political party said it demands decisive, firm action, always thinking about the well-being of all Peruvians.
