7 criminals thwarted in escape to Colombia

Seven members of the Los Lobos Organized Crime Structured Group were captured in the municipality of San Francisco (Zulia), when they were trying to flee to Colombia. The information was released by the director of the Autonomous Police Institute of the Municipality of San Francisco (Polisur), Erich Gómez Barreto, through his social networks.

“These individuals, originally from the state of Falcón, were trying to escape across the border, through La Guajira,” says the statement, which indicates that the subjects, when approached by the authorities, showed resistance and adopted uncooperative attitudes.

Subsequent investigations revealed that six of the detainees have criminal records and two of them are currently wanted by the courts. Among them is a subject nicknamed El Danilito, the report says.

The detainees were registered as Deivis Alejandro Romero Jimenez (18), Richerd Rafael Marrufo Pacheco (28), Irving Gabriel Quiñoz Sangronis (21), Edgar Jesus Salas Garcia (23), Elias Junior Pina Yance (24), Jhon Leonardo Semeco Macho (31) and Danilo Jose Diaz Bracho (28).

In another incident, Polifalcón agents shot dead a man allegedly linked to the plan for the seven people arrested in Zulia to flee the country.

The deceased was identified as Alexander José Rosales García (23), who confronted the agents in the vicinity of the Wind Farm.
