Broken water pipe reported on Andrés Bello Avenue

The fault occurred this Saturday, August 31, specifically diagonally across from Colegio Cervantes, between the main avenue of Las Palmas and Andrés Bello, El Recreo parish of the Libertador municipality


Users of the social network X (formerly Twitter) reported a broken pipe on Andrés Bello Avenue in Caracas this Saturday, August 31. In the videos, a large amount of water can be seen covering the avenue.

The fault occurred specifically diagonally to the Colegio Cervantes, between the main avenue of Las Palmas and Andrés Bello, El Recreo parish of the Libertador municipality.

Residents of La Florida reported that a Hidrocapital crew was attending to the situation and that they needed support from the firefighters.

“Emergency crews are needed, buildings on the Andrés Bello avenue and Las Acacias and Las Palmas avenues have collapsed. Vehicles, water pumps and elevators are at risk,” wrote a resident of La Florida asking for help.
