A trough with precipitation and electrical discharges caused by the widespread heat will continue to dominate the weather conditions during the night of this Friday.
This was reported by meteorological analyst Jean Suriel. «The widespread heat of the last few days has been responsible for the electrical discharges that have occurred in areas of the Dominican Republic,» said.
“Today the weather situation has been dominated by the effects of a trough and humid winds. The Saharan particles present in the Caribbean have not been significant, so moderate to heavy rainfall has developed this afternoon and will continue this evening,” he said.
Suriel pointed out that the chances of more rain will be in the south, southeast, northeast, central mountain range and northwest.
