National Police coordinates with the Governor’s Office the curfew in Colón

This morning, Friday, August 30, representatives of the National Police met with the Governor of the province of Colón, Julio Hernández, with a view to coordinating the implementation of a “Curfew” for minors.

This curfew includes a schedule for Sundays through Thursdays from eight at night until five in the morning and on Fridays and Saturdays from nine at night until six in the morning. This was stated by Sub-Commissioner Javier Batista, executive of the Colón Police Zone.

Efforts will be coordinated with the Juvenile Police and Seniaf in order to ensure faithful compliance with the instructions issued by the competent authorities. Parents and the community in general are also urged to ensure compliance with established schedules and prevent their children from participating in clandestine parties and from breaking the established schedules.
