Daviplata’s response
In response to the growing confusion, the bank explained that the message had been sent from Davivienda’s wallet by mistake.
The $30,000 bonus was intended only for a specific group of customers who met certain requirements stipulated in the terms and conditions, and not for all those who received it.
The journalist and communicator Víctor Grosso, a specialist in economic issues, reported that the bank has acknowledged the error and clarified that those who received the message by mistake will not be able to claim the bonus.
The bank also apologized and assured that it was already sending an official communication to correct the situation, stressing that the message titled “shopping challenge” was not addressed to all users.
