The young Millonarios fan, who received an encouraging video call from Radamel Falcao, said goodbye to his beloved daughter and his faithful friend Katy, a canine who has been by his side through thick and thin since she was born. On Friday, August 30, Javier has an appointment scheduled at the clinic to undergo the procedure that could put an end to his days, a decision that will inevitably affect his family and, of course, his pet.
The Foundation Adopt a Good Friend Chan is the person who currently has Katy, the light of Javier Acosta’s eyes, in his custody, and that is why they have made the decision to begin an adoption or sponsorship campaign for the animal.
«Today I just want to thank you for choosing me as your adventure partner. We both kept each other company and I don’t know if I saved you or you saved me. We shared so many moments, laughs, dreams, car rides, soccer games that we didn’t lose sitting on the couch in what was once our home. I was also your partner in struggle. I accompanied you in your best moments but also in your worst, but you always had caresses for me no matter how much pain your body was in,» says a letter written by the foundation thinking of Katy.
And she continues: “Unfortunately, a few weeks ago you explained to me what was happening with you… you called me to tell me that soon, you would no longer be there to accompany me to the park, our soccer afternoons were going to end and your hand that gave me the best caresses was no longer going to be there, you promised me that you were going to take care of me from above… how ironic because I thought I would be the first to leave. While you were crying, I understood everything perfectly and I knew that you were going to find a beautiful place for me to be while I find a new human, hopefully as special and loving as you are. That’s why I returned to the place where they rescued me and cared for me until the day you met me.”
«Javi, I don’t blame you for anything because I don’t have anything to blame you for! I just want to thank you for giving me the best years under the roof of our home, for giving me delicious food, for the soft caresses that made me sleep. I will miss you very much but I promise to never forget you and I only ask that you send some angels so that I will soon be back in a family surrounded by love,» concluded the text of the publication.
