Two-year Cetes achieve the highest yield this week

Two-year Cetes achieve the highest yield this week

There was only an increase in the three-month and two-year Cetes.

Since Banxico lowered the reference rate on August 8, 28-day Cetes have remained at levels close to the reference rate of 10.75%.

“Markets are finishing assimilating the recent comments by Jerome Powell at Jackson Hole regarding the start of a cycle of cuts in the federal funds rate, as well as the recent events of depreciation of the Mexican peso,” Intercam highlighted in a report.

What is the yield of Cetes?

The 28-day Cetes offer the same yield as last week of 10.65%.

At three months, yields increased marginally to 10.80%.

At six months, yields also stagnated at 10.83% while at two years, the yield went from 10.64% to 10.77%.
