Ferroviária is in the semifinals of Series A1 of the Brazilian Women’s Football Championship. The classification was achieved on the afternoon of this Wednesday (28), when the Guerreiras Grenás defeated Internacional 2-0 at Arena Fonte Luminosa in a match that was broadcast live on TV Brazil.

The spot went to the team from Araraquara because, in the first leg, the result was a 1-1 draw. This Wednesday, Ferrovirária opened the scoring in the 11th minute of the first half with Neném. After the break, in the 13th minute, Mylena Carioca gave the final numbers to the score.
Now, in the semifinals, the Grenás Warriors will face whoever advances between São Paulo and Grêmio. In the first leg, the São Paulo team won 2-1.
Palmeiras classified
Another team to advance in the competition was Palmeiras, who drew 2-2 with Cruzeiro at the Jayme Cintra Stadium in Jundiaí. Palmeiras secured their place in the semifinals after winning 2-1 in the first leg. Their next challenge in the competition is Corinthians, who beat Bragantino on the way.
