The National Emergency System reported this Saturday 4,367 new cases of covid-19, distributed in all departments of the country. It was from the processing of 14,136 analyses, which means a positivity rate of 31%.
The report further confirmed the death of 11 people with a diagnosis of the disease, with a average age of 77 years. Now, the number of deaths of patients with the virus adds up to 6,865, which translates into a lethality of 0.84%.
Until this Saturday there was in Uruguay 39,869 active cases in all the country. The report noted that 151 patients have the disease in critical care centers.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 812,367 cases have been registered, 15% of all the tests carried out in these almost two years.
