Before Sheinbaum’s message in the plenary session, Morena senators published the unanimous vote of both positions; one of them was Senator Olga Sosa of Tamaulipas.
In the plenary session of the Morena parliamentary group, we agreed on a unit that coordinates the senator’s bench @adan_augusto and the board of directors will be chaired by Senator Gerardo Fernandez Noroña.
I’m sure they will fulfill the order. pic.twitter.com/oEeQzkGGDf

Fernández Noroña takes up the post of Senate president after being a deputy for the PT and participating in the campaign of the president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum; a month and a half ago, Noroña complained that the president had proposed an agreement to give a State Secretariat to the other participants in the internal contest.
After making his complaint public, Noroña announced that he would meet with Sheinbaum, and a day later he said that he had assigned her “a political task.”
