“There have already been informal meetings with officials, but the transition begins on Thursday. We are going to meet with officials in a committee,” he said.
This Monday, the elected head of government, Clara Brugada, led a meeting with all the members of her legal cabinet, one week after having presented them publicly, to fine-tune details for the formation of her project for Mexico City.
In this context, César Cravioto said that the meeting was to outline the priorities to be addressed in the transition and the projects that are planned once he takes office.
“We talked, each secretary, appointed by (Clara) Brugada, about how we are doing. Yes, there has already been rapprochement with the current officials, they gave us several tasks that it is not up to me to comment on at this time,” he said.
Cravioto, who will play a key role in politics and dialogue with mayors and the legislative branch, stressed that these types of meetings will continue frequently throughout the transition period.
