Santo Domingo.- The weather pattern will continue with little rain, and only in some provinces will moderate downpours be recorded, due to the presence of a trough.
The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) predicted on Monday that the trough will cause showers with thunderstorms in the early hours of Tuesday in Samaná, Peravia and Barahona.
These showers will extend in the afternoon towards the provinces of El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, Juan Sanchez Ramirez, Monsignor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago de los Caballeros, Elias Pine, San Juan, Santiago Rodriguez, Azua, San Jose de Ocoa, Independence, Valverde, Monte Cristi and Dajabon.

In the rest of the Dominican Republic, there will be little chance of rain and high temperatures, according to the bulletin issued by Indomet on Monday.
Meanwhile, the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami has forecast that no tropical cyclone formation is expected in the Caribbean region over the next two days.
