When do the holidays start?
The upcoming long holiday period for elementary school students, according to the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), is scheduled for December 19, 2024 and will run until January 8, 2025. This will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break after several months of school activities.
Holidays before December
Before the December holidays, there are several days off scheduled. These include:
- September 16th
- September 27th
- October 25th
- November 18th
- November 29th
High school and university education
The National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) has established that the next vacation period for its students will be from December 23, 2024 to January 3, 2025. During this time, students will have the opportunity to rest and prepare for the next semester.
On the other hand, students of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) will enjoy their vacations from December 16, 2024 to January 3, 2025. This period will also allow them to disconnect from academic activities and recharge their batteries for the next year.
