Some land passenger transport companies, such as Brasilia, have implemented a strategy to take advantage of the situation experienced by several air terminals in the country due to the shortage of fuel for airplanes.

“We have activated a special rolling plan. Our buses are ready to meet the demand of passengers in the usual conditions of safety, comfort and quality,” reads a publication made by the company on Monday, August 26.

Brasilia buses reach more than 750 destinations in Colombia and have nearly 400 interdepartmental vehicles with Wi-Fi, on-board entertainment, reclining seats, connectors and a special air purification system.

Brasilia has routes in the Caribbean from Barranquilla, Cartagena, Santa Marta, Valledupar and Montería to the interior of the country, in main cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Bucaramanga and Cali.

It should be noted that due to the jet fuel crisis at various airports in the country, Ecopetrol announced measures to prevent a shortage.
