Pasco: Driver burns to death after a mishap and a trailer explosion

A trailer loaded with potatoes went off track on the “Devil’s Curve” on the Canta – Huayllay Pasco road, and fell to a depth of approximately 50 meters, causing the cabin to explode and catch fire immediately. Unfortunately, the driver lost his life.

Witnesses to the incident were unable to do anything to save the driver. Firefighters and the National Police arrived at the scene and tried to put out the fire. However, fears that the gas tank might explode hampered their efforts to control the fire.
