A bus belonging to the Schaft Roadways company went off the road and overturned at the sharp curve on the Canta – Huayllay road. Around 10 people were injured and were taken to the Canta hospital for medical attention.

According to initial reports, the accident was caused by poor road conditions, due to heavy rain and a wet track. The accident caused the closure of vehicular traffic.

The Highway Police arrived at the scene to remove the bus that had left the city of Huánuco and was heading to the city of Lima. So far, the list of injured has not been confirmed, nor has the transport company made any statement.
