Porozo: "It will be a great personal and football growth."

Jackson Porozo, Ecuadorian central defender signed by Leganés, During his presentation at the Butarque stadium, he said that his arrival at the blue and white club in the top category of Spanish football “will be a great personal and footballing growth.”

“I’m happy to be here. Now it’s time to do my best to make it a season full of achievements for everyone. Porozo considered that in the aerial game “he is very strong” and also in one-on-one situations, as well as adding speed as one of his three main characteristics. Regarding his role on the field, he said: “I’m used to playing wherever I’m assigned. I can defend in a medium or low block. There are strong, fast, more technical forwards, and you have to be prepared to defend them all. This is one of the most important leagues, it’s a nice thing and I hope to have many games here and grow.”

On the other hand, he analyzed his options of being called up to his country’s national team: “Now I’m thinking about Leganés. If I do well here, I’ll be in the national team. But for now I’m focusing on what’s here. I hope I can be on Ecuador’s list.”
