2025 Youth Baseball players will have hotels during the season

For the next 2025 National Youth Championship, youth baseball teams will stay in hotels and will no longer stay in stadiums, for the first time in the history of this sport, according to the president of the Panamanian Baseball Federation, Jaime Robinson.

“Youth baseball players will be rewarded and instead of staying in hotels, the Panamanian Baseball Federation will pay for their hotels for the first time in history, giving value to those who deserve it and have earned it, for the great work that the youth have done in recent years, raising the level of our baseball and defending the colors of their province with honor,” said Robinson.

The decision to award hotels to the youth players in the National Youth Championship was made during the last plenary meeting of Fedebeis, held last Saturday at the offices of the Panamanian Baseball Federation. “The position was adopted to give them hotels and maintain the $14 travel allowance for visitors and $6 for local players,” Robinson explained.

In addition, for the next National Youth Championship, the Provincial Leagues will continue to be entitled to 50 cents for each adult entrance ticket to stadiums and 25 cents for tickets sold to children or retirees.

“It is a commitment of Fedebeis to support all our categories, but especially the young players who year after year stand up for this sport and of whom we are proud,” said Robinson.
