This morning, during a supervision of a work, the governor of Freedom, Cesar Acunawas questioned about the low execution of its annual budget. However, what really caught the attention of those present was his peculiar comparison between the regional financial situation and the performance of the Cesar Vallejo University Club.

Acuña, in an ironic tone, told a local media outlet: “The region is like Vallejo: in decline”alluding to the club’s position in the league table. The joke, intended to soften criticism of the budget execution, generated a series of laughs among those attending the event.
The governor did not stop there and continued with his analogy, stating: “We are in the last places.” Despite the seriousness of the issue, his comments were received with support and laughter from those present, who found humor in Acuña’s comparison.
Acuña is denounced
The leader of Alianza para el Progreso (APP), César Acuña, was accused of alleged crimes of procedural fraud and false documents, because he allegedly used a false document to prove an alleged loan from César Vallejo University to Señor de Sipán University.
The complaint establishes César Acuña Peralta, along with Raquel Noemí Godoy Cedeno and Ernesto Almagro Ulloa, as co-authors of the alleged commission of the crime against public faith – Falsification of private documents in the form of use, to the detriment of the aforementioned University.
In addition to the alleged crime against the Administration of Justice in the form of procedural fraud against the Eighth Specialized Civil Court of the city of Trujillo.
