Investigations against the Minister of the Interior Juan Jose Santivañez continue. This after the release of compromising audios where the head of the Mininter would assure that he was commissioned by Dina Boluarte to deactivate the Diviac.
This Monday, August 26, Colonel Harvey Colchado will appear as a witness before the Attorney General’s Office in the context of the investigation into Minister Santiváñez.

It is worth remembering that the audios between the minister and his friend Junior Izquierdo were recorded five days after Santiváñez was sworn in as head of the Mininter.
“Dina asked me to close Diviac twice. She told me that until yesterday. I told her: I can’t, I can’t.” However, at another point she says: “You know that anything goes when it comes to getting on. She asked me: can you deactivate Diviac? I said: yes.”
Captain Izquierdo’s lawyer, José Carlos Mejía, has pointed out that this situation must be thoroughly investigated, since the audios show a possible political manipulation of the functions of the Ministry of the Interior.
Santiváñez, for his part, has categorically denied the authenticity of the audios, although he has admitted having met with Izquierdo in a chifa in San Borja shortly after taking office.
