With a 2-1 victory over Olympiacos (Greece), Flamengo won the title of the third edition of the U-20 Intercontinental Cup, last Saturday (24) at the Maracanã stadium. Rubro-Negro qualified to compete in the competition after securing the title of the Copa Libertadores in the category, with a victory over Boca Juniors (Argentina).

Although the team led by former player Filipe Luís secured the final victory, it was the Greeks who opened the scoring, with Liatsikouras eight minutes into the second half after a rebound inside the area.
However, pushed by more than 31 thousand people, Flamengo went all out on the attack and managed to equalize the score in the 27th minute, when Caio Garcia took advantage of a rebound given by the opposing goalkeeper after a shot from Wallace Yan to complete the goal.
