The Chancellor of the Republic, Yvan Gilthanked the President of Bolivia, Luis Arce, for the position expressed in back to Venezuela and in rejection of any attempt at interference.
Through his social networks, the foreign minister expressed that “on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, we thank President Luis Arce Catacora for his firm position in defense of the most sacred values in our America: the self-determination of peoples!”
Gil said that “Venezuela will continue to win in its fight against fascism and the extreme right!”
The foreign minister accompanied his message with the publication of the president, who asserted that “Bolivia defends the principle of self-determination of peoples and respect for sovereignty.”
“In this sense, we reject any attempt to interfere in the politics of our countries and support the democratic institutions of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” said Arce.
The foreign minister also thanked his Bolivian counterpart Celinda Sosa for her message, who reiterated that the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) ratified the victory of President Nicolás Maduro in the elections of July 28.
“We welcome and respect this sovereign decision. We congratulate our brother President, we wish him success in his administration and we reaffirm our desire to strengthen our bonds of friendship,” said Sosa.
