10 days ago, in a store in Villa Mella, they were selling shoes with the Inabie logo
The Executive Directorate reiterated that it will not tolerate these irresponsible actions, regardless of who is behind them, and we will continue to report them to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Santo Domingo.- The National Institute for Student Welfare (INABIE) today condemned the sale of pants with the institution’s seal that was reported in a store operating in San Antonio de Guerra, Santo Domingo, reason for which it will make a new request to the Public Ministry to assume the formal investigation of the referred case and to establish the corresponding sanctions.
In this regard, the institution reiterated the warning issued last week in which it urged businesses to refrain from selling merchandise with these symbols since their sale is prohibited and legal action will be taken.
“As an institution, we have complied with the effective distribution of school supplies to educational centers for this year, so we reiterate that we will not tolerate these irresponsible actions, regardless of who is behind them, and we will continue to report them to the Public Prosecutor’s Office,” the Executive Directorate reported.
INABIE also indicated that each educational center is responsible for the final delivery of the supplies to the parents of the students, which is why it also called for the chain of custody to be guaranteed in these spaces.
In addition, last week the institution communicated the following to suppliers regarding the sale of merchandise under the entity’s seal:
“We announce that the violation of these regulations and the lack of control over the merchandise may lead to severe consequences, including, but not limited to: the immediate cancellation of the current contract with INABIE. The request for disqualification from the State Supplier Registry (RPE), which would prevent participation in future tenders and contracts with the public sector,” the institution explained.
