FANB arrested four subjects with counterfeit bills and drugs in Zulia

During the execution of patrol, search and reconnaissance tasks of the route, area and zone, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) arrested four citizens from whom they seized a metal safe, 27 bundles of 100 dollar bills (counterfeit), four packages of marijuana and two vehicles.

The details of the procedure carried out as part of Operation “Catatumbo Lightning 2024” were offered by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (CEOFANB), G/J Sunday Hernandez Larezthrough social networks.

In this regard, Hernández Lárez stated that the arrested subjects were identified as Pedro Yhosei Caldera Graterol, Leonardo Macia Villasmil, Edwin Alfonso Montaña Ocando and William Fernando Medina Reinoso, of Colombian citizenship.

The general added that the Venezuelan State remains in the frontal fight against the scourge of drug trafficking to exercise national sovereignty and territorial integrity in a democratic State of law and social justice in which the FANB and OSC fight daily against criminal groups that generate violence that affect the peace and tranquility of the population.
