Deputy Minister for North America Carlos Ron said on Friday that Canada has no moral authority to object to state institutions or the great democratic will of the Venezuelan people.
On his Telegram channel, the legislator stated that the Canadian government “has neither the basis nor the moral grounds to question Venezuelan institutions nor the democratic will of its people. They will dry up,” he said.
He said that the “dwarf empire” of Canada is the only government that prohibited Venezuelans from voting in its embassy in 2018.
He explained that the country also has a history of genocide against the first nations of that part of the continent.
Similarly, Ron said that the Canadian government cannot disguise its colonialist pretensions regarding Haiti, “which pays homage to Ukrainian Nazis and was the foreman of the United States (US) in the failed Lima Group.”

Earlier, in a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Venezuela rejected the new formation of a group of governments from the American continent against the sovereignty and independence of the country.
