Venezuela strongly condemned the recent statement issued by the governments of Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, the United States, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay in which they “grossly and insolently” seek to continue violating international law, committing an unacceptable act of interference in matters that only concern Venezuelans.
This was made clear in a statement read this Friday by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yvan Gilwhich warns that the statement of these countries seeks to emulate the “disastrous and failed Lima group.”
He also stressed that with this position, the aforementioned governments endorse and become accomplices of the criminal violence that attacked health centers, schools, universities, transportation, national symbols and left a toll of murders and injuries, caused by transnational criminal gangs hired for this purpose.
“Venezuela demands absolute respect for its sovereignty and independence, which it won after intense struggles against the most hostile empires that insist on getting their hands on natural resources that do not belong to them and are trying to impose, once again, a policy of regime change typical of the coups d’état that the US empire promoted in Latin America and the Caribbean for more than 100 years,” Gil stressed.

THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NEW LIMA GROUP AND A NEW GUAIDÓ IS UNACCEPTABLE!
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects, in the strongest terms, the rude and insolent statement from the governments of Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, the United States, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay, who, emulating the disastrous, failed and defeated Lima Group, intend to continue violating International Law by committing an unacceptable act of interference in matters that only concern Venezuelans.
Venezuela demands absolute respect for its sovereignty and independence, won after intense struggles against the most hostile empires that insist on getting their hands on natural resources that do not belong to them, and are trying to impose today, once again, a policy of regime change typical of the coups d’état that the US empire promoted in Latin America and the Caribbean for more than 100 years.
These governments, with their stance, endorse and become complicit in the criminal violence that attacked health centers, schools, universities, transportation, national symbols and left a toll of murders and injuries with the use of transnational criminal gangs hired for that purpose.
Just as the people of Simon Bolivar and Hugo Chavez pulverized the attacks of the deceased Lima Group and its attempt to impose a puppet government in the past through the failed adventure of Juan Guaido, on this occasion they will pulverize each and every one of the actions that they try to initiate through their failed governments against the Venezuelan people.
History has shown that the fate that awaits those who dare to go against the dignity of the Bolivarian people is nothing more than international contempt and shame, as has been immortalized in the popular tale that says: Whoever messes with Venezuela dries up!
