Yajaira Pitti takes over the direction of INADEH with an ambitious plan for modernization and expansion

The Credentials Committee of the National Assembly of Deputies has ratified Yajaira Estela Pitti Atencio as the new director of the National Institute for Vocational Training and Capacity Building for Human Development (INADEH). In her first appearance before the committee, Pitti Atencio highlighted her vision to transform the institution into a model of efficiency and modernity.

“My most important challenge is to leave Panamanians an institution with positive footprints, both in infrastructure and in quality of training,” said Pitti Atencio. His management plan includes the modernization of facilities and the integration of advanced technology to improve professional and technical training in the country.

Among the initiatives highlighted, Pitti announced that the new administration will focus on expanding INADEH coverage to communities such as Pana Norte and San Miguelito. In addition, he assured that he will be on the ground, working directly with instructors and trainees to ensure effective and close management.

“I am not going to be an air conditioning director,” Pitti Atencio stressed. “I will be present at the campuses, working side by side with staff and students to ensure an orderly, transparent and high-quality institution.”

With this ambitious plan, Pitti Atencio seeks to position INADEH as a fundamental pillar in technical and professional training in Panama, adapted to market demands and committed to educational excellence.
