The Special Team against corruption in Power (Eficcop) received this afternoon a complaint about the kidnapping of Iván Siucho Neira, the effective collaborator who said he had received pressure from Matthew Castanedaformer lawyer of President Dina Boluarte.

Peru21 learned that Siucho was intercepted today leaving his home, located on Las Casuarinas Avenue, in the district of Surco. The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m.
According to the information, the collaborator was kidnapped and put in a Nissan Sentra. After travelling for a while, his captors changed vehicles and the previous one was abandoned. According to the sources, drugs were found in the latter.
Representatives of the special team led by prosecutor Marita Barreto went to Siucho’s home to gather details of the events.

On June 18, 2024, Iván Siucho told the Public Prosecutor’s Office that on June 15 he went to Castañeda Segovia’s offices where he was told how he should declare “in such a way as not to harm the allegedly false content of the receipt.”
“In addition, on this subject Mateo Castañeda told Iván Siucho Neira that he had to obtain proof of a bank withdrawal, either in soles or dollars, but greater than S/15,000 to support the alleged payment he had made to him for professional fees,” reads the fiscal provision.
